Effie Trinket

The Hunger Games movie came out back in March. In the reaping scene of district 12 Efiie Trinket has a lovely ombre on her nails of pink and gold. I tried to recreate it here but I don't think I did that well, ahhh well it gives me an excuse to try again :)

Nail Party

A couple of weeks ago I hosted a nail party where I invited some friends to my house to paint an accent nail. I thought I would put some pictures up from that :)

Water Marble

Water marbling is really fun but really messy, I chose to do it on just 2 nails on each hand so I had less clean up to do. I used 3 colours, a pistachio green, a metallic bronze and a metallic black. I then painted my thumb nails with the black, my middle finger nails with the green and my little finger nails with the bronze.

Braid

There have been quite a few youtubers giving tutorials on this look so I thought I would give it a go :)

Harry Potter

For my birthday my friend took me to the Warner Bros Studio Tour so I spent the evening before painting Harry Potter themed designs on our nails. On each of my 4 fingers I painted a design based on the 4 Hogwarts houses (from left to right; Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor and Slytherin) and on my thumbs I painted the symbol of the deathly hallows in the 7th book. Hope you like them :)

Leopard Accent

On my nails at the moment I'm sporting a recent craze, a ring finger accent. I have chosen a leopard print design for the ring finger and I have painted the rest of my nails beige. Hope you like them :)

Stonehenge

A couple of weeks ago I visited Stonehenge so I decided to paint my nails in honour of my visit, I painted some of the stones on my ring finger, hope you like them :)

Hello my name is Pip and I am a university student studying anthropology in London. I am spending the summer Au Pair-ing in Italy on the east coast.
